Crushed Rainbow River Rock - 3/8" chip.

**When delivered this product may contain a small amount of dust which can be washed off via hose or rain in order to reveal its natural colors.**

3/8" in size, slightly larger then your typical pea gravel and crushed.  This crushed gravel is made from the fine screenings of 3/4" crushed rainbow river rock and thus has the same color characteristics.  3/8" chip is becoming more and more popular as a final screeding layer for paver patio/walkway installation.  It's angular nature allows the small chips to interlock, increasing stability and durability of your finished patio.  3/8" chip also holds significantly less water then traditional bedding sand which will help prevent your pavers from heaving during freeze/thaw cycles.  This product can also be used in gravel pathways, or for any purpose where typical pea gravel might be useful.
